Before we get down to business…
Payment Terms
Payment is due in full before any work is to begin. In the case that a payment plan has been established, payment is due by the date specified before the next segment of work is begun. You will be sent a PayPal invoice along with your contract, which details what work is to be done and when. PayPal is preferred, but if you have another method of payment you prefer, we can certainly discuss it!
work is guaranteed; results take time
Much of what I do (social media strategy, SEO and marketing) focuses on organic reach and connection with actual humans that are interested in you and your product, which can take time. If you are hiring me and expect immediate, drastic results to your social media following or sales count, that’s not realistic - not just for my services, but for anyone in my line of work. I would love to tell you that as soon as you hire me you’ll be getting orders that you can’t keep up with - but I can’t, because sales are so dependent on market fluctuations, the economy, and of course, the product. What I can guarantee is that I will work your best angles to get you visibility, which can, and will, result in increased sales and follows over time. It’s best to build your following slowly anyway, as it’s more sustainable to you and your business. Any marketer who promises that you’re going to get-rich-quick using their services is a snake oil salesman and should be avoided at all costs!
Status reports
Status reports will be provided after work is completed, or in the case of ongoing projects, on a monthly basis. For social media or web shop services, you will get one status report upon completion of work, plus a follow up report one month later.
Creative Consultation / Networking
I am fortunate to be a part of an extensive network of creative professionals that I am happy to refer you to should you need a service that I don’t provide. Their compensation, availability and scheduling is at their sole discretion and I do not receive any direct compensation from them in exchange for my referral. I provide referrals based on my experience with their work and professionalism, and because I want to support individuals who I wholeheartedly believe in. You will be responsible for communicating your needs directly with them.
